Hurricane Dorian struck the Bahamas in September 2019 instantly devastating lives and communities across Abaco and Grand Bahama.
The BBC (Sep 2019) reports that 1,300 people are missing following the hurricane, while at least 15,000 are in desperate need of shelter, food and medical care. The sheer impact of this disaster will be felt by many Bahamian families for years to come.
In support of the victims of this natural disaster, we have organised a fundraising event featuring music, culture and spoken word. We will also be running a raffle, with amazing prizes provided by gracious donors. Raffle tickets will be £10 each and can be purchased with cash only - please plan accordingly.
All funds raised will go to Rotary Hurricane Dorian Disaster Relief. Please support us in raising as much money as possible to support the victims of this tragedy during this difficult time.
